Evelyn Walg is a Venezuelan artist of Dutch origin, she has lived most of her life in Venezuela and now resides in Miami. Walg is an international artist with exhibits in Venezuela, South Florida, New York, Lima, Boston, Tel Aviv, Vienna and Shanghai. She paints about her feelings towards present day human relations.
Everyone is connected through internet, but there is little touch and no eye contact. Her people hold hands, look and touch each other, they move over the canvas, yet they are not alone. She creates individuals with no identity but with clear personality. It is all about a utopian ideal world of friendship, happiness, love and human warmth.
